Football Video Games of the Season

March 11th, 2012 Author: admin

Fall is a great time to go to www.directstartv.com and get lots of football channels but who wants to just watch games when you can PLAY them? We’ve put together a short list of our favorite football video games of all time – check out the ones you need to try:
The Madden Series: Madden sure knows how to make football video games, right? The characters are incredibly lifelike and the game itself is one you can play again and again. It gets better every year so invest in Madden 12.
NCAA Football: If you’re more of a college fan you’ll love NCAA – the players are faster and the uniforms more familiar and you finally get to ditch all that gloating in the endzone, as if that’s not your favorite part of the NFL.
NBA Jam: Okay, so it’s not football but with the lockout still looming large we figured we needed to give you an option to get your basketball cravings covered. NBA Jam is the classic and it’s available even when your favorite team’s not even playing.

Top Ten Worst Games: Buyers Beware

January 18th, 2012 Author: admin

The top ten worst games that have ever existed in the gaming industry is a list of games that should have never hit the shelves and market. Number one game that ranks the worse of all time is E.T: The Extra Terrestrial, this game is clear why it ranks the worst game in history. Moving pixels and basically nothing to do in a vast land of nothingness is basically the main features of this game. The next game is Super Columbine Massacre RPG, the name says it all. Third up on the line up is Custer’s Revenge, a porn based game, a big no-no. Up next is a game called Daikatana, a poorly made game that seems unfinished and boring. Although some may disagree, Pac-Man ranks up to the list at number 5. Next up is a game called Smurf Rescue, the name says it all, why would you want to play a game that rescues these weird blue thing? At number 7 we have Shaq Fu, stick to basketball Shaq. At number 8 we have Make My Video, a poor man’s version of Dance Central. Last but not least, Price of Persia and Elf Bowling at 9 and ten.

August 9th, 2011 Author: admin

When it comes to video and computer games, the prevailing belief is that the more expensive a game is, the better, or at least newer, it is. Fortunately for gamers on a budget, a new game-selling trend based around F2P games, or Free-to-Play games, is flooding the market.
